Although Ilford was considered to be a rather small rural town, it has experienced massive growth in recent years and it now represents a major centre for the arts and numerous retail industries. There are many natural attractions found just outside of the metropolitan area, including Hainault Forest, Wanstead Park and Epping Forest. South Park offers large tennis courts, a bowling green and a playground for children. High Road Ilford is mainly known for its shopping opportunities, as well as a famous local bookshop known as Waterstones. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is found at 970 Romford Road. It can be accessed by car via the A1020 motorway (also known as N. Circular Road within the town itself). The Ilford train station is the closest terminal. Upon arrival here, visitors can take Ilford Hill Road to arrive at the office. The London Buses network is also available here and there are regular stops within the city centre throughout the day. When arriving via the two motorways, it is best to avoid peak traffic hours.
