Situated in the county of Warwickshire, the town of Leamington Spa became a famous tourist destination in the 19th century, when its natural mineral springs were developed and made accessible. The town quickly prospered as a spa resort frequented by the rich and famous, keen to 'take the waters' and benefit from the supposed health-promoting properties of the natural springs. Today, Leamington Spa is a modern, thriving commercial and tourist centre, and spa centres such as Junerain Spa & Treatment Clinic and Essence Of Beauty offer a range of traditional massage and modern beauty treatments. Popular attractions in Leamington Spa include Quarry Park Disc Golf, the Loft Theatre and boating on the River Leam. The various places of interest are best visited by car, as many of them are quite far apart and not all are easily accessed using public transport. If you need a car or van, Enterprise Rent-A-Car's Leamington Spa branch, located in Sydenham Industrial Estate in St. Mary's Road, just south of the River Leam, can offer you a range of first-class vehicles for hire to suit your purposes during your stay in Leamington Spa.
Enterprise’s car and van hire rates are carefully kept at a minimum to ensure they remain highly competitive. You can also save money if you book the vehicle of your choice and pay in advance for your intended hire duration. Booking in advance is also the best way to ensure the car or van you want will be available and ready for you on your arrival at Enterprise.
If you need a van for picking up and transporting goods or materials in Leamington Spa, Enterprise have an excellent range available. Small vans, mid-sized vans or large Luton box vans are all available to hire. All Enterprise vans are modern, fuel-efficient and maintained in perfect running order to ensure maximum reliability and smooth performance. Learn more about Enterprise van hire.
In addition to vans, Enterprise’s range of vehicles for hire also includes cars of various sizes, spacious people carriers that are able to accommodate up to nine passengers comfortably, and powerful SUVs, which are perfect not only for in-town use but also for getting out to explore rougher and more challenging terrain out of town.
The main road in Leamington Spa is the A46, which connects Coventry with Stratford-upon-Avon and passes through the town. Access to the M40 motorway, linking London with Birmingham, is just three miles away from the town centre. Street parking in the town centre is restricted but there are good, centrally located parking facilities, such as Covent Garden Car Park in Russell Street, St. Peters Car Park in Augusta Place, and Chandos Street Car Park.
