Yes. Enterprise is an essential services provider that remains open to meet critical transportation and personal mobility needs. We are committed and ready to help you get wherever you need to be.
Each rental vehicle at Enterprise is thoroughly cleaned between every rental and backed with our Complete Clean Pledge. We also extend the Complete Clean Pledge to our shuttles (for airport locations) and neighborhood branches.
To help protect both customers and employees, we have modified our car rental process. This includes the addition of kerbside rentals at our locations to help promote social distancing by getting you quickly on your way while avoiding foot traffic in our locations.
Delivery is also offered at select car rental locations throughout the country. Please contact your rental branch for availability.
Whether you are picking your vehicle up kerbside, or if we deliver it to you, we’re committed to maintaining proper distance throughout the process.
If you are currently renting a car with us, your local branch should be reaching out to you about options to return your rental vehicle. If you have any additional questions or are looking for more information, please call 0800 111 4312.
You can modify or cancel your reservation via our website or mobile app. We have extended our existing no-fee cancellation policy to include customers with pre-paid rentals booked directly through us. Watford is in the county of Hertfordshire, on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, 17 miles from London. Humans first settled in the area centuries ago. However, it was the railway that came to the town in 1837, linking it to London and Birmingham, which led to its development as a regional centre for the Home Counties. Today, J D Wetherspoon, Camelot Group and Mothercare all have headquarters in Watford. Harlequin Shopping Centre opened in the town in 1992, offering 140 new shops. Recently it changed its name to Intu Watford and is still a focal point for shoppers. On the nearby High Street, there are bars and restaurants catering to every taste. The town has many parks and green spaces, several museums and theatres, and of course, Watford F.C., where Elton John still holds honorary life presidency of the club. It is also close to Leavesden Film Studios, where some of the Harry Potter films were made. Concerts by premier music industry stars take place at the Colosseum entertainment complex. The Enterprise Rent-A-Car site is a mile outside the town on the Cassio Road and is easily accessible by public transport or by taking up Enterprise’s pick-up offer.
Watford is close to both the M1 and M25 motorways, and it doesn't take long to drive into central London. Whether you are exploring locally, perhaps by visiting nearby St Albans, or going further afield, a hire car from Enterprise lets you set the timetable and removes your reliance on public transport. Look on the website for the best deals for car and van hire and book early to make sure you get the vehicle you want at a price to suit your pocket.
Enterprise understands the reasons why their customers hire vans, so they make sure they have a great range of vans from market leaders to choose from. Its proximity to the motorway network makes Watford a great place to travel from. With three railways stations in the town, it's also easy to get to. The West Coast Mainline runs through Watford from Euston up to the North West and on to Scotland. Watford is the last stop on the Metropolitan Line of the London Underground and is also served by a comprehensive bus service. Visitors should have no trouble parking as there are nine car parks in the town, the largest of which is Gade, with over 600 spaces.
