Yes. Enterprise is an essential services provider that remains open to meet critical transportation and personal mobility needs. We are committed and ready to help you get wherever you need to be.
Each rental vehicle at Enterprise is thoroughly cleaned between every rental and backed with our Complete Clean Pledge. This includes washing, vacuuming, general wipe down, and sanitising with a disinfectant that meets leading health authority requirements, with particular attention to more than 20-plus high-touch points. We also extend the Complete Clean Pledge to our shuttles (for airport locations) and neighborhood branches.
To help protect both customers and employees, we have modified our car rental process. This includes the addition of kerbside rentals at our locations to help promote social distancing by getting you quickly on your way while avoiding foot traffic in our locations.
Delivery is also offered at select car rental locations throughout the country. Please contact your rental branch for availability.
Whether you are picking your vehicle up kerbside, or if we deliver it to you, we’re committed to maintaining proper distance throughout the process.
If you are currently renting a car with us, your local branch should be reaching out to you about options to return your rental vehicle. If you have any additional questions or are looking for more information, please call 0800 111 4312.
You can modify or cancel your reservation via our website or mobile app. We have extended our existing no-fee cancellation policy to include customers with pre-paid rentals booked directly through us. To extend your car rental, you can click “Call to Extend Your Rental” in our mobile app. You can also call your rental branch or 0800 800 227 to extend your reservation.
Snuggled between England’s coastal plains and moorlands lies Preston, a lush region that has conserved its natural heritage exquisitely. At its peak is Beacon Fell, on the hem of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The River Ribble snakes through the plains, which are cheerful and lavish enough to resemble Tolkien’s beloved Hobbiton. Its wealth of history is put on display at its three main museums – the Harris Museum showcases historical art, while the interactive Museum of Lancaster caters for the young and young at heart. Preston’s docks are as much a destination as they are a way to get to your next destination. Spend a day wandering between the cafes and stores at the water’s edge before visiting the Turbary Woods Owl and Bird of Prey sanctuary. Preston is a hiker’s and biker's paradise, and the Guild Wheel keeps you far enough from the highways to truly immerse you. Cuerden Valley Park is a biker’s wonderland, complete with monthly events for visitors.
Enjoy Preston at your leisure the budget-friendly way with Enterprise Rent-A Car. If you’re counting pennies, book online to find a great deal or choose a fuel-efficient car to take you farther for less. Executive premium vehicles are ideal for business travellers who need a smooth but well-branded way to carry corporate clients.
Preston car parking permits are an economical way to use the town’s many car parks. The city centre has five large parking areas, including a dedicated disabled car park. Hill Street's is best if you’re driving a large vehicle. If you’re using public transport, the bus station has its own parking zone. Preston has mobile phone laws forbidding calls and texts while driving, while misusing the bus lanes to get ahead of your schedule might earn you a stiff fine.
