Palmers Green is a suburban town located within the borough of Enfield. Found approximately eight miles outside of Charing Cross, this municipality is famous for having the largest population of Cypriots outside of Cyprus itself. It is therefore often referred to as "Little Cyprus". Although its historical roots can be traced back to the 12th century, Palmers Green is known in modern times for its retail shops along Green Lanes (in the centre of the city). Improved access to nearby New River has allowed a growing number of visitors to enjoy open-air picnics and hiking; a benefit not often associated with towns close to London. Enterprise Rent-a-Car is located at 379 North Circular Road, also known as motorway A406. Other nearby thoroughfares include the A10 motorway. The closest tube station is Bounds Green and the Bowes Park railway station can likewise be used to arrive at the office within minutes.
