Founded in 1096, Norwich cathedral showcases the historic, Romanesque architecture. The East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens are a hidden gem of Norwich, within this are further surprises from the Walled Gardens to the Rose Gardens, and from the Woodland Gardens to the Mediterranean Gardens. The Air defence Radar operations began in 1942 and continued until 2004. The operations room formed the centre of the museum which has and still is gradually expanding over time.
