Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW-TP is optional and not required to rent a vehicle. If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle during the rental period in the U.S. Virgin Islands unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement. CDW-TP is included in the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP).
Please be aware that most vehicle insurance policies from outside the U.S. Virgin Islands do not provide coverage in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal vehicle insurance coverage. The renter should contact their insurance company prior to arrival with any questions regarding their specific coverage. Further, if the renter declines both CDW-TP and EPP, the renter is responsible for the full value of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle.
No excess applies.

Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) is a package product that includes Collision Damage Waiver & Theft Protection (CDW-TP) and Third-Party Liability (TPL) at a discounted price. EPP is not insurance. If you purchase EPP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle, and up to the policy limits for damages and injuries to third parties during the rental period in the U.S. Virgin Islands, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement.

We Refill — This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices.
Pre-pay Fuel — This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused fuel.
Customer Refills — This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as received to avoid extra fuel charges.

All major credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club or Discover, are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. In addition, if the renter has an online reservation, the name printed on the card presented by the renter must match the name for the online reservation. A deposit on the credit card plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. The deposit amount is 1,000 USD plus the estimated cost of the rental for all car categories. The deposit amount may be used towards damages to the vehicle or late charges. Pre-paid cards, cash, cheques, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay are not accepted. Debit cards can be used at the end of the rental to pay for any outstanding balances, but the deposit must be secured with a credit card at the start of the rental.

RSP does not include the replacement of lost keys including remote entry devices. The replacement cost for a key is 500 USD, which will be added to the rental agreement.
Roadside assistance is also available without payment of this flat-rate fee. It will then be billed according to the actual costs incurred for each assistance service rendered. Roadside Assistance Protection is an optional product. Before purchasing, customers are advised to check if their personal coverage is adequate. For roadside assistance, call 1-888-501-5291.

A valid credit card in the renter's name must be presented upon collection of the vehicle. If the driving licence is written in a language and characters different from those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licences from countries that are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation. Customers can drive in the country using their driving licence from their country of origin for up to 60 days. If staying in the country longer, customers are required to obtain an International Driving Permit.

Third-Party Liability (TPL) protection is not insurance. The purchase of TPL is optional and not required to rent a vehicle. TPL does not provide protection related to damages to the rented vehicle or injuries to the driver of the rented vehicle. Third-Party Liability (TPL) is included in the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP).

TPL includes coverage for bodily injury and property damage of an amount equal to the minimum financial responsibility limits applicable to the vehicle and additional coverage, through an excess liability policy, with limits for the difference between the statutory minimum underlying limits and $20,000 per accident. No excess applies.

Please be aware that most vehicle insurance policies from outside the U.S. Virgin Islands do not provide coverage in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal liability insurance coverage, insurance purchased from third-party websites and credit card coverage. The renter should contact their insurance company prior to arrival with any questions regarding their specific coverage. Further, if the renter declines both TPL and EPP, the renter is financially responsible for the cost of damage to third-party vehicles or injuries to third parties during the rental period.
