Car Hire - Salalah Airport (SLL)

All additional drivers must meet all hire requirements. The main driver must present the original driving licence of any additional drivers if they cannot be present at the hire counter. All additional drivers must appear at the hire counter, present their driving licence and sign the rental agreement. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any hire location within the same country and at any time during the hire. An additional driver fee of 4.00 OMR per day applies. The maximum fee is 75.00 OMR.

After Hours pickups- Rental location services after hours with 24 hours minimum advance notice. Customers can contact our rental agent at 968 99312836 or send an email to travelsll at ouat.co.om. A premium fee of 5.00 OMR is applied for after hour service.

After Hours returns- Customer needs to make a request to the Rental agent on the counter while picking up the car that he or she would like to return after hours and they must provide a scheduled time and preferred branch location for the return. Also the customer can call 968 99312836 or send an email to travelsll at ouat.co.om 24 hours prior to return and request for an after hour return or drop to a desired branch location. Our rental agent will be waiting at the branch wearing an Enterprise uniform to meet and greet the customer and facilitate the rental check in accordingly. A premium fee of 5.00 OMR applies for after hour service.

The minimum age requirement to rent all vehicles is 25. The maximum age to rent is 70. Renters between the age of 21 and 24 may rent the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard and Premium (except SUVs). A young driver fee of 7.00 OMR per day applies to all renters between the age of 21 and 24. No additional fees apply to these young drivers. Local taxes and surcharges may apply.

Vehicles can be driven in U.A.E. Ferry crossings with the vehicle are not permitted. A cross-border fee of 45.00 OMR per hire applies.
In all cases, customers must inform the hire branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and will require authorisation. Customers are required to inform the hire branch about any cross-border travel at least 48 hours in advance and provide a copy of their driving licence and passport. The passports of non-GCC nationals must also have a valid and stamped visa.
The border crossing permit will be provided at the hire counter upon pick-up.
Unauthorised cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge of 100.00 OMR.

Our standard damage waiver cover provides excess coverage for damage to the body of the rental vehicle and/or theft. It does not cover damage to the tyres during the rental. If not included in your reservation, a daily fee depending on the car group rented is applicable for the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). If CDW is included or purchased, the renter will be responsible for an excess-deductible of 150.00 OMR in case of damage caused to the rental vehicle. A police report is mandatory for all insurance claims. In the absence of a police report, the renter is responsible for the entire damage repair cost.

If the car is collected at one location and then dropped off at a different location a one-way fee to cover the cost of returning the car to the original location will apply. 72 hours prior notification is required for all one-way rentals. Should the rental vehicle be dropped off at a location other than the one originally agreed without notification; the customer will incur a penalty fee of 100.00 OMR. 

As a customer, you can choose how to pay for fuel when returning the vehicle.

Fuel policy at non-airport locations:
You may refuel the vehicle to the same level as received at the time of hire.
If you choose not to refuel the vehicle to the same fuel level, you will be charged the local rate, which is typically above the local fuel price.
A full tank of fuel is not guaranteed.

You may opt to prepay for fuel. Prepay gives you two conveniences:
• You can avoid the hassle of refuelling the vehicle before returning.
• You will be charged for the full tank of fuel upfront at a lower rate than the local fuel price and you can return the vehicle empty.
Note: Prepaid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon/litre. Local fuel rates will vary by the area in which you are hiring a vehicle.

All major debit and credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard and Visa, are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Digital cards (Apple Pay/Google Pay etc.), prepaid cards and cash are not accepted as methods of payment. Prepaid cards can be used to settle any outstanding balances at the end of the hire. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the hire will be taken at the time of hire. The deposit is 150 OMR for all vehicle categories.

If using a debit card for the security deposit or any of the above amounts, the available funds in the account associated with the Renter's debit card will be reduced by those amounts. In addition, the Renter is responsible for any overdraft fees incurred. If the Renter does not have any of the acceptable forms of payment listed above and chooses to use a debit card for the security deposit, the amount will be treated as a one-time, non-refundable charge. This condition will form an integral part of the rental agreement and shall be deemed accepted upon signing of the agreement.

Basic roadside assistance is provided by AAA free of charge. This service includes tow up to 100 kilometers to the nearest service facility. Battery charge, flat tire replacement, fuel delivery, door unlocking service and minor roadside repairs. Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week and the AAA Emergency number is 968 93877124.

Renter Requirements- Drivers license must have been held for at least one year. Holders of an International Driving License are required to also show their Passport at the time of  rental as an additional form of identification.
