Rental Policies

All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. An additional driver fee of 5 JOD per day applies. The maximum fee is 100 JOD per rental.

Minimum rental age - 21 years. Young drivers will require a valid driving licence. There will be a young drivers surcharge of 4.00 JOD per day applicable for groups Mini up to Fullsize cars only from the age of 21 to 24. Renters 25 years and above can rent all car groups. The maximum rental driving age is 79. 

Renters are prohibited from driving the rental vehicle outside the borders of Jordan. 

Collision Damage Waiver provides excess coverage for damage applied to the body of the rental vehicle. It does not cover damage to tires, windshields or the underbody of the vehicle during the rental. A daily premium fee which ranges from 5.00 JOD to 25.00 JOD depending on the car group rented is applicable to purchase CDW. In the case of accident the renter will be responsible for an excess/deductible ranging from 350.00 JOD to 2,000.00 JOD depending on the car group rented. It is a mandatory requirement in line with the laws of ministry of transportation in Jordan to ensure a police report is obtained and sent with any claim to be valid

One-way rentals are permitted within all Enterprise locations in Jordan. A drop off charge may apply for some one-way rentals. This charge is quoted at the time of reservation or rental. 

Vehicle will be supplied with a full tank or a minimum of half a tank of fuel and the vehicle should be returned in the same condition. The rental vehicle returned with less than it’s pickup condition will have a refueling fee. Vehicle refueling charge will have a 15% service charge fee on top of the Jordanian fuel market rate.

Personal Accident Insurance is an optional insurance which provides the renter and renter's passengers with cover in the case of  Accidental Death (up to 20,000.00 JOD), Accident Medical Expenses and Ambulance Expense benefits (up to 10,000.00 JOD). 

All major credit cards are accepted - American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. Tour operator, broker and Enterprise vouchers are also accepted. Cash payments as deposits or rental charges are accepted. The deposit required is always the same amount for CDW deductible (excess) depending on vehicle group. 

Roadside assistance is provided by Enterprise Jordan in-house service center. Roadside assistance is available 24-7 by calling the number displayed either in the rental car windscreen sticker or vehicle condition report. Roadside assistance services are free of charge. Roadside Assistance includes mechanical assistance, towing, vehicle replacement. Additional assistance such as customer lockouts, lost keys, fuelling, wheel punctures are also available, but is chargeable unless roadside assistance coverage was purchased at the time of the rental. Roadside Assistance Protection coverage is available for additional daily fee of 3.00 JOD.

Any valid driving license is acceptable apart from those with endorsements and penalties. Drivers must be in possession of a valid driver’s license, held for at least one year. International customers or country visitors need to have an international driving permit (License should be in English language). Local customers (Jordanian nationals or residents of Jordan) can rent vehicles with their local Jordanian Driving License. Customers presenting a fully valid driving license, their passport and a valid credit card will be able to complete their full rental check out procedures.
