After exiting customs all rental counters are located on the right. The National rental counter is the fifth booth on the right.
Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 23, and maximum rental age is 75 years. There are no additional daily fees for drivers under 25.
Driving is restricted within the country of Jamaica only.
Delivery and Collection is available on request. Customer can pre-arrange pick-up and drop off of vehicle in advance.
Customer must contact the rental office directly upon arrival.

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at the time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.
Collision Damage Waiver - Theft Protection (CDW-TP): Collision Damage Waiver - Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The rental location requires CDW-TP protection to rent a vehicle, unless you purchase Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) (which includes CDW-TP), present written proof of existing collision and theft protection valid in Jamaica or provide a deposit or credit card authorization at the time of the rental in the amount of $2,500 USD plus the cost of the rental.
If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle, after the deductible, during the rental period unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement. CDW-TP does not cover damage to tires. A deductible of $250 USD applies.
Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside Jamaica do not provide coverage in Jamaica. Liability insurance purchased on third party travel websites is not an acceptable form of coverage. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal auto insurance coverage. You should contact your insurance company prior to arrival with any questions regarding their specific coverage.
If you provide acceptable proof of current coverage in Jamaica and decline CDW-TP and the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) which includes CDW-TP, you will be responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle.
If you do not provide acceptable proof of current coverage in Jamaica and decline CDW-TP and the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP), you will be responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle.
Enterprise Package Protection (EPP) is a package product which includes Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP), Excess Protection (EP) and Tyre and Windshield Protection (TWP) at a discounted price. EPP is not insurance. If you purchase EPP, the hire company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to and loss or theft of the vehicle during the hire period in Jamaica subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement. No excess applies.
As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.
Option 1 - Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas. Pre-paid gas is available at a reduced market price.
Option 2 - We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay the location at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices.
Option 3 - You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) The purchase of Personal Accident Insurance is optional and not required to rent a vehicle.
Personal Accident Insurance covers ambulance service, doctors, hospitalization and nurses for the driver and passenger in the vehicle, with a maximum limit of $25,000.00 USD. Coverage also includes Accidental Death and dismemberment coverage of $5,000.00 USD and Personal effects up to $1,000.00 USD.
A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented at the time of rental. The signature on the back of the card must match the name imprinted on the front. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by the renter must match the name and number stored for the online transaction.
Credit Cards honored: American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, Discover®
Debit/Check cards are considered to be any non-credit card American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, Discover® logo. Debit/check cards and cash are not accepted at this location.
Cash is not accepted at this location.
The authorization placed on the renter's credit card will be the deductible amount of Damage Waiver and Damage Waiver with Theft, depending on the car class selected, plus the cost of the rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges. See the policies for CDW, SCDW and CDW-TP for deductible amounts by car class.
If the renter has insurance coverage through a credit card, they will have a refundable authorization charge of $350 plus the cost of the rental. To ensure a smooth rental process, we encourage renter's to verify in advance that Jamaica is included in their credit card auto insurance coverage prior to the rental and provide written verification confirming.
If the renter does not choose to purchase one of the protection packages or does not have insurance coverage through a credit card or their personal insurance plan, they will be required to provide a deposit, in the form of a credit card authorization, in the amounts below plus the cost of the rental.
$2000 - Economy, Compact, and Intermediate
$2500 - Standard, Standard SUV and Standard Van
$3000 - Fullsize
If you provide acceptable proof of current coverage in Jamaica and decline CDW-TP, CDW-5000 and the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) which includes CDW-TP, you will be responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle and an authorization of 400.00 USD plus the cost of the rental will be held on their credit card at the time of rental.
If you do not provide acceptable proof of current coverage in Jamaica and decline CDW-TP, CDW-5000 and the Enterprise Protection Package (EPP) which includes CDW-TP, you will be responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle and a deposit or credit card authorization will be required at the time of the rental in the amount of 2,500.00 USD plus the cost of the rental.
Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) Covers 24 hours service for jump start, lockout service, fuel delivery, minor repairs and tire change. RAP includes flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, vehicle will be towed, tire repair cost still applies, unless tire protection is purchased, and lock out service (if keys are locked inside the vehicle). Jumpstarts and fuel delivery service for up to 5 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel is also provided (fuel at charge to customer).

Present a valid driver's license.
Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental.
International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.
Third Party Liability (TPL) is included in the time and mileage rate. Subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate TPL, this protection provides coverage for damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits, and provides you with at least the minimum financial responsibility limits as outlined in the applicable motor vehicle financial responsibility laws. No deductible applies.
