Tallinn Airport is located 6 km southeast of the downtown and Old Town of Tallinn. Situated on the edge of Lake Ülemiste, the airport is close to the Moigu and Ulemistejarve districts. There are multiple ways to drive into the city centre, including via Estonian national road 2, a dual-carriageway highway that connects with the half-ring road Livalaia. Alternative routes include via Jarvevana tee.

Tallinn Airport is Estonia's largest airport and its main hub for international travel. With some 1,300,378 passengers per year, the airport offers both domestic travel and international connections. Some of the most popular international routes to and from Tallinn airport include Frankfurt, Helsinki, Riga, Stockholm, London, Warsaw, Oslo, Moscow, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. Various seasonal flights are also available in summer, including links to Antalya, Athens, Bodrum, Nice and Rhodes.

Tallinn Airport is Tallinn's only airport and an important hub for travel through Estonia and the Baltics. It serves the greater Tallinn region, including towns like Maardu, Harku, Laagri, Keila, Saue and Paldiski. It also provides connections to Tallinn's port, which offers travel through the Gulf of Finland to Helsinki, St Petersburg and Ventspils. Rental Policies

All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. Additional drivers can be added at the Tallinn airport location at any time during the rental. An additional driver fee of 39.65 EUR (incl. VAT) per 30-day rental period applies.

After hours pickups- are available at this location. Advance notice of 24 hours applies. There is no after-hours fee. After hour returns- Customers should return the rental car to the rental car parking at Tallinn Airport. Car keys and documents should be dropped into the key-box located at the in Terminal rental counter office.

All renters and additional drivers must be 19 or older. The young driver fee for drivers between the ages of 19 and 20 is 3.50 EUR per day plus VAT for all car groups. Maximum driving age is 75.

Outside of Estonia, vehicles can be driven in Latvia, Lithuania, Finland and Poland only. A cross-border fee of 88.45 EUR (incl. VAT) per border will apply to all authorised countries and territories. In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle. Unauthorised cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge of 1,200 EUR. If the rental vehicle is dropped outside of Estonia without prior authorisation, the customer will be liable for all costs associated with recovering the car in addition to the 1,200 EUR penalty fee. Please note that for cross-border travel to Finland and Poland, customers are required to inform the branch prior to arrival or at the time of pick-up as additional fees and restrictions apply for these countries. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the liability of the renter in the event of damage to the bodywork of the vehicle. If CDW is not included in the reservation, the renter has liability for up to the full market value of the vehicle. If not included in the booking, CDW is available for purchase. If included in the reservation or purchased, the excess amount is 1,100 EUR for all vehicle classes. Excess will be charged every time that a vehicle is damaged. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance.

All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. The one-way fee varies based on car category, location and pick-up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, desired route and car category.

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel. As a customer, you can choose how you pay for fuel:
Option 1 – Pre-pay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the tank of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused fuel.
Option 2 – We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay the rental company at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. Missing fuel will be charged at 4.90 EUR per litre.
Option 3 – You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid extra fuel charges.

All major credit cards issued by either American Express, Visa or Mastercard are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Debit cards, pre-paid cards, cash, cheques, Diners' Club and Discover cards are not accepted. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. The deposit is 1,300 EUR for all Alamo rentals and 1,100 EUR for all Enterprise or National rentals. If the customer has remained within Estonia for the whole rental period, deposits will be unblocked within 10 days of return providing that there is no new damage, the vehicle is returned with a full tank of fuel and the renter has not received any traffic violations or fines. If the vehicle has left Estonia during the rental, it may take up to 30 days to release the deposit due to a delay in traffic fines or violations being processed from the other countries of travel.

Roadside Protection is an optional coverage available for selection by the renter. Roadside Protection covers the costs of on-site assistance and towing (if the issue cannot be resolved on site).
Roadside Protection does not cover misfuelling, replacement vehicle keys, replacement tyres or running out of fuel. You must adhere to all rental Terms and Conditions to receive the benefit of Roadside Assistance Protection.
In cases of rental vehicle mechanical failure through no fault of the renter, roadside assistance will be provided at no cost to all renters. This service will include a tow and a replacement vehicle.
Roadside services are available 24 hours a day by calling +372 5166261. For calls out of hours between 6 PM – 9 AM, an out-of-hours fee of 32 EUR (excl. VAT) applies.

All drivers, renter and additional drivers, must produce a valid driving licence at the time of rental. In addition to a valid driving licence, the renter must also produce ID card or passport and a major credit card in his or her own name. Multiple part driving licence holders must produce all parts of their licence. An international driving permit is required for anyone holding a non-European driving licence. Additional ID or further identification checks may be requested if deemed necessary. This may include an identity check with external partners who may check details supplied against databases to which they have access.

Supplementary Liability Protection - Third Party Liability coveragage limits for third party bodily injury or death is 5,600,000 EUR and for third party property damage, 1,200,000 EUR. There is no specific minimum coverage amount for this insurance policy as ever case is investigated individually.
