Constanţa International Airport (CND) Car & Van Hire

There will be an additional daily charge of 5.95 EUR, with a maximum of 59.95 EUR including VAT charged per rental regardless of days, for each additional driver. Full rental conditions apply to additional drivers.

Location operates 24-7 and is manned at all times to service rental returns. Cars are to be parked in the airport parking rent-a-car spaces. The rental office also has a key box.

All renters must be of the age of 21 and above to rent all car groups. Renters between the age of 21 and 24 will be charged a young driver fee of 3.57 EUR per day inclusive of VAT and renters over the age of 75 will be charged a driver fee of 2.38 EUR per day inclusive of VAT.

Cross Border Policy: Cross border rentals are allowed within the European countries and Turkey (continental part). A prior written authorization is required. There is also an insurance fee that applies and includes the green card. These kinds of rentals should be requested from Enterprise Rent A Car at least 7 working days prior to the pickup date. Please contact our reservations department for further information and the process of the publication of the green card. Minimum time for the publication of a green card is 3 working days. The green card covers the rented vehicle with basic insurance - TPI as long as it remains within the borders of the countries for which it is issued. Roadside assistance and car replacement whilst driving abroad is available at an additional cost. Towing or replacement fee is 1.15 EUR PER km and may increase in cases that is it necessary to wait; usually due to an accident.

The cross border fees are:

50.00 EUR plus VAT (Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate) - for EU countries per rental.
80.00 EUR plus VAT (Intermediate Wagon, Intermediate SUVs, Standard and Full-size) - for EU countries per rental.
100.00 EUR plus VAT (Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate) - for non EU countries per rental. Some restrictions may apply.
130.00 EUR plus VAT  (Intermediate Wagon, Intermediate SUVs, Standard and Full-size)  - for non EU countries per rental. Some restrictions may apply.

Delivery and/or Collection of the vehicle to or from locations other then Enterprise Rent A Car is available wthin the city limits between the hours of 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday for an additional fee of 15 EUR per service plus VAT.The driver must be present to show the following documentation: EU Citizens - ID Card, Drivers licence held for a minimum of 12 months and a credit card with the customers name on it. Non EU citizens will also have to present their passport. Delivery and Collection is available outside of the city limits for an additional fee of 15 EUR per service and .35 EUR per km plus VAT. This is available in all locations in Romania with a minimum rental length of 3 days and for specific car groups. All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it is collected will be subject to a one-way fee. Unauthorized one-way drops will be charged at the end of the rental. The one-way fee must be paid at the rental counter. International one ways are also available from Romanian rental offices to selected International locations. Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection – CDWTP This is an optional coverage which reduces the customers financial responsibility in cases of damage to the rental vehicle or theft/fire to the excess-deductible amount. CDWTP does not provide any coverage for damages to the underside of the vehicle, inside the vehicle-saloon, windshields, mirrors or tires. The customer is liable for the full cost of the vehicle if this coverage product is not purchased. A police statement must be presented to the rental company in the event of an accident. Without a police report the client is fully liable for damages. The customer assumes full responsibility if the damage caused is due to infringement of the road circulation code. The daily charge and deductible amounts vary by car class.

All rates do not include VAT.

Full to full. All rental vehicles are delivered with a full tank and must be returned in the same condition. Should the vehicle be returned with less than a full tank, the difference will be charged in accordance to the official rate of Enterprise Rent A Car Romania. In addition a service fee of 35.70 EUR inclusive of VAT will apply.

SLP Supplementary Liability Protection - third party liability insurance is required by law, free of charge and included in all rates. Coverage limits - third party bodily injury or death up to 5,000,000 EUR and third party property damage 1,000,000 EUR.

During the winter season of 1 November to 31 March and in cases of inclement winter weather conditions in the country of Romania all rental vehicles are fitted with winter tires in accordance to local road laws. Winter tires are included in all rates.

Visa, American Express and Mastercard credit cards are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter’s name. A security deposit will be blocked on the credit card and the estimated cost of the rental should be charged at the time of pickup. The deposit will be released by the cardholder's bank upon notification of return of the vehicle. The car categories Mini and Economy require a deposit of 300.00 EUR, Compact and Intermediate vehicles have a 500.00 EUR deposit, Full size and Standard vehicles require a 1000.00 EUR deposit. Debit cards and cash cards are accepted as forms of payment for the rental or to purchase additional products. The deposit must be paid with a valid credit card. Roadside service is available within the country of Romania. This assistance is free of charge as long as the customer was not at fault or in breach of the rental conditions. In the event the customer is at fault or in breach of rental conditions, a per kilometer charge of 0.50 EUR inclusive of VAT for Roadside service will be charged.

All drivers must present a valid national driving licence that has been held for a minimum of 12 months along with an identity card or passport. For non-EU renters, a physical international driving licence must be presented alongside their national driving licence.
