Hiring a car at Tbilisi International Airport (TBS)

Enterprise Rent-A-Car offers convenient car and van hire in Tbilisi International Airport through its local office. This branch is in the Car Rental section of the arrivals hall, only a few steps to the left after exiting the customs and baggage collection areas. In addition to the usual benefits, this branch offers 24/7 service.

The airport is located in the eastern suburbs of the Georgian capital, 17 kilometres away from central Tbilisi. If you have arranged a car hire in Tbilisi International Airport, the drive to the city centre will take approximately half an hour. Travellers headed for Rustavi can expect a slightly longer drive of 35-40 minutes.

From its location, barely 5 kilometres away from the S5 road, Tbilisi International Airport offers direct access to cities located in the Kakheti region, which covers most of Southeastern Georgia. The airport mainly operates flights to Europe, Central Asia and the Gulf countries, with the most popular destinations being Istanbul, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Yerevan and Baku.

This airport serves Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital city, since Kakheti Highway and Rustavi Highway (both within easy reach of the airport) provide access to the most centrally located districts in the city. From the airport, it’s also easy to reach Rustavi, one of the country’s top five most populous cities. Further south but only within a one-hour drive are the towns near the border with Azerbaijan. Tbilisi International Airport is also conveniently located a short drive away from some popular natural landmarks, such as Tbilisi National Park and Zhinvali Nature Preserve.
