All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.
Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.
Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement.
An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.

The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.

After hours service is available at airport location ONLY. Client must pre-arrange pick up and return by booking at least 24 hours in advance. All after hours returns must be confirmed at the rental counter at the time of pick up and will incur a $10.00 USD charge.

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21, and the maximum rental age is 75 years.
Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 will incur an additional daily fee.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance. The purchase of Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional and not required in order to rent a vehicle. You may purchase CDW for an additional fee. If you purchase CDW, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for all or part of the cost of damage to the vehicle during the rental period in Belize unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement.

A $750 USD deductible will apply.                                

If CDW is declined, renter is responsible for the full value of damage to the vehicle.

Delivery and collection is available. Customer must pre-arrange delivery and collection of vehicle in advance. Delivery and collection is available at no additional cost within Belize City limits. Delivery and collection is avaiable at an additional cost for anything outside Belize City limits. Additional costs may range from $50 - $300. Customer must contact the rental office directly upon arrival.

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way cahrges apply and are payable at the time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.

As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.

Option 1- Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas. Pre-paid gas is available at 5 percent  less than the local fuel prices.

Option 2- We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay Alamo at the end of the rental for gas used but not replace. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50 percent surcharge will apply.

Option 3- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.

Driving restricted with the country of Belize.        

A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card presented by the renter must match the name and number strored for the online transaction.                                            

Credit cards accepted: Mastercard and Visa only.

An authorization on the credit card in the amount of 500.00 plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges.

Cash is not accepted as a form of Payment.

Must meet the locations' minimum age requirements.

Present a valid driver's license from the customer's country of residence is required and must be presented at the time of rental.

Present a major credit card in the renter's name at the time of rental.

International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin Characters an International drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in Characters other than Latin, an International Permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.

Customers will not be allowed to rent with only an International drivers permit.

Third Party Liability (TPL) is included in the Time and Mileage rate. TPL provides you with up to $500,000 USD for bodily injury and up to $125,000 USD for property damage. This meets or exceeds the minimum financial responsibility limits, at no additional charge to you, as outlined in the applicable motor vehicle financial responsibility laws of the country where the vehicle is rented.  TPL coverage is subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement.
